Red Fort: Located in the centre of Delhi and houses a number of museums and was the residence of the Mughal emperor of India for nearly 200 years. The fifth Mughal emperor Shah Jahan built it in 1638. The 33m high walls of Red Fort were built with a view to prevent invaders. Light and sound show is conducted here in the evenings. Humayun’s Tomb: Humayun’s tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun was designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas, a Persian architect. Queen Haji Begum, widow of Humayun, built this wonderful monument in the year 1570 and it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993.

Qutb Minar, the red stone tower is the tallest tower in India with a height of 72.5 meters and is covered with complex carvings and verses from the Holy Quran. Qutb Minar has five storeys and every storey is marked by a projected balcony.

Lotus Temple:Bahai Temple also known as Lotus Temple resembles the shape of a Lotus. Lotus is the National flower of India and symbolizes four religions namely Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism and Jainism. Out of the seven major Bahai temples constructed around the world, the one in Delhi was constructed last.
