Itinerary

Day: 1: Arrive Delhi and Drive to Shimla

Upon arrival at Delhi airport, our representative will welcome you and transfer to car as you leave for Shimla. On arrival, check-in the hotel. Rest of day is at leisure. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.

Day: 2: Shimla full day sightseeing

Have breakfast, then you will leave for sightseeing in Shimla. It is the Colonial Queen of the Hills. This hill station has a distinct charm that sets it apart. A visit to Shimla is enriched with British history, ‘Himachali’ folklore and the beauty of the Himalayas. A walk through the undulating roads of Shimla is a beautiful experience in itself. Blessed by crisp weather during most part of the year, Shimla Mall, clock tower, Christ Church, Jakoo Temple, Mall Road make great hosts. The lush green valleys of Mashobra are the most tranquil and picturesque sight one can behold. Depending on the time of the year one can also indulge in skiing. 16 km from Shimla, Kufri is a much-loved tourist spot which offers mesmerizing views of the mountains and the valleys. Narkanda, just a 2-hour drive from Shimla, is at a higher elevation and thus offers amazing panoramic views of the valleys. In December, skiing courses are also conducted in its snow-laden terrain. Summer Hill and the apple orchards are Rohru offers the same charm as Shimla does eliminate only the hustle and bustle of the capital. Shimla mall is a shopper’s paradise where one can find items ranging from expensive winter wear to trinkets that may be gifted as souvenirs. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03: Shimla – Manali

Have breakfast, you will leave for Manali. On reaching this place, you will check-in the hotel for relax. Rest of the day is at leisure. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04: Manali sightseeing

Have breakfast, then you will leave for sightseeing in Manali. Set on the banks of the beautiful Beas, Manali is the dream destination of every hill station lover. From waterfalls to temples, Manali has a lot to offer. The Hadimba Temple, dedicated to the wife of Bhima, is a one-of-a-kind pagoda shaped temple located inside Dhungri woods. The Tibetan Monasteries located in and around Manali can’t be missed as they stand testimony to the Tibetan influence in the culture of Himachal Pradesh. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 05: Manali sightseeing

Have breakfast, then you will again leave for sightseeing in Manali. Visit Vashisht Temple and hot water springs, located around 3 km from Manali is a beautiful spot enriched in religious significance. The picturesque Jogini Falls in the lush surroundings offers a harmony the sounds of nature that can’t be missed. Soland Valley, located around 14 km from Manali, is unmatched when it comes to natural beauty. Skiing here is the most popular activity during winters. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 06: Manali- Dharamshala

Have breakfast, then you will leave for Dharamshala. It is one hill station that boats a beautiful union of Indian and Tibetan cultures, in the most picturesque setting. The Tsuglagkhang Complex is the Mecca of Tibetan culture in Dharamshala. It was built when His Holiness the Dalai Lama visited India for the first time in 1959. Namgyal Monastery in Dharamshala is the largest Tibetan temple outside Tibet. It is home to 200 monks and the architecture is a representation of Tibetan art. Dating back to the 4th Century BC, Kangra Fort still stands strong as the largest fort in the Himalayas. It was home to the Kangras of Katoch Dynasty. St John in the Wilderness Church flaunts neo-Gothic architecture and Belgian stained glass windows. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07: Dharamshala – Dalhousie

Have breakfast, you will leave for Dalhousie. On reaching this place, you will check-in the hotel for relax. Rest of the day is at leisure. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 08: Dalhousie Sightseeing

Have breakfast, then you will leave for sightseeing in Dalhousie. Colonial architecture, pine and oak woods and snow-capped peaks in the distance – Dalhousie is all this and much more. The lush green meadows of Khajjiar and its lake make up for the ideal picnic spot. Daikund peak or the singing hill offers the most enchanting view of the three rives – Beas, Chenab and Ravi. Kalatop Wildlife Reserve located in the banks of Ravi is home to the great Himalayan Bear. Satdhara falls and Panchpula is picturesque waterfalls located in Dalhousie. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 09: Dalhousie – Amritsar

Day 10: Amritsar Sightseeing

Have breakfast, then you will leave for sightseeing in Amritsar. Durgiana Temple and Tarn Taran Sahib are other spots of theological significance in and around Amritsar.
